Presentation:

As part of the Game Jam des Etoiles, organized by the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, our goal was to create a game specifically designed for projection in a planetarium.

Our game offers a dynamic and immersive experience: the player is launched into space aboard a spaceship, fired from a cannon by pressing the X key. They must then avoid asteroids by controlling the ship with the ZQSD or arrow keys to move up, down, left, and right. The ultimate objective is to destroy a massive asteroid threatening Earth.

We paid special attention to visual effects to ensure they blended seamlessly with dome projection, making the most of the planetarium's unique characteristics to heighten immersion.

This game jam was truly one of a kind, it was a major technical challenge that we successfully tackled as a team. It was a world first, with video games projected inside a planetarium, making the experience all the more memorable.
